IDEA: This unit worked quite well but the open ended nature of the assignment meant that some students managed to avoid following the Design Cycle in the depth that I wanted and did not get a good appreciation of the importance of this process. For next year I will do the same project but focus it by insisting their movies follow the format of a Common Craft video. Here is an example:
